My first walk in 2002 My daughter Sara thought it would be fun to do something together. I said 'yes', I would walk 500 miles to be with my daughters. Then in 04, my youngest daughter Jessy invited me to walk.That was super fun. Fast-forward to 2007 and I get stage one breast cancer. It was small, found on a mammogram, and treated with drugs and radiation. (Early detection IS the cure). I am giving back and once again walking with my beautiful daughters Jessy and Sara.
